Silverbrook's first 30 minutes — follow this order only

MUD isn’t a game about memorizing commands. Follow the steps below and in 30 minutes you’ll be wandering alone.

0–3 min · Enter

Open the address and set a name. No registration required. Choose a name that’s easy for others to call you.

3–5 min · Start with the Mission

Type mission to see what you need to do now. Then type mission track. Now your next destination will stay on the screen. If you don't turn this on, you'll get lost.

5–10 min · Getting Used to Walking

When you enter a room, read the room description at least once. The exit and items are listed there.

10–15 min · Check Status

15–25 min · First Battle

Follow the guide fairy’s instructions and start with weak mobs. Hit with attack mouse (short k mouse), flee with run if it’s dangerous. Spells are cast flame, learned spells list is spells, and rest with rest.

• You can run away. If it's dangerous, run. It's better than dying
• Use healing potions liberally; the more you use them, the better you handle them.
• If you use a sword, use only swords; if you use spells, use only spells — focus on one to progress faster.

25–30 min · Return and Repair

Return to town, check shop items in list, buy and sell. Store money in the bank. Crafting is combination. Weapon upgrades can be done later. Just know you have them now.

Other useful things to know

From then on

• Talk to people when you see them. Parties can have up to 10 members.
• The amount you can grow per day is limited (Blessing). Once it's capped, you can continue tomorrow.
