From college to military to job hunting

[Job game] A life simulator that takes you from the college entrance exam to the military and then to employment.

It’s a game about taking the college entrance exam, going to university, building your resume, and getting a job. How it works is roughly like this:

1. Take the college entrance exam and apply to universities.

First you receive your exam scores and choose a university and major. You can apply based on whether your scores are above or within the required range. If you fail, you can retake the exam or take a gap year, but you also have to consider your family’s financial situation.

2. Build your resume while in university.

Each semester you choose whether to study or join clubs and other activities. You can study for TOEIC or certifications alongside your university life. At the end of each semester your grades and accumulated resume items are shown together.

You can change majors, double major, study abroad, or travel. For military service, if you set a goal before enlistment you receive the result and can be discharged quickly to continue.

3. Do an internship and try to get a job.

Check internship postings before vacation and apply. You can apply to multiple places at once while seeing the likelihood of acceptance. After gaining experience, you apply to entry‑level positions – that’s the goal.

It’s a bit bittersweet that even in the game you have to keep track of grades and TOEIC scores.
